Brian Killian received his technical training in commercial photography from Ohio Institute of Photography. After graduating in 1989, he went to work with Larry Peters, seen by most as the leader in high school senior photography. Operating from three Ohio locations, Peters’ Photography studios are known for their quality and incredible variety. They photograph over 1000 high school seniors per year, in addition to their children, family and individual portrait clients. Working with Larry, Brian developed his style and perfected his craft. Brian earned his Masters and Photographic Craftsman degrees in 1994 and 1996, respectively.

Janine Peters Killian, also a Master Photographer and PPA Craftsman, and Brian were married in 1994 and hence began the next generation of Peters' Photography leaders. Together Janine and Brian have grown and expanded the children and family markets as well as helped take the senior photography business to another level by developing new and contemporary ways to portray high school seniors. It is important to Brian and Janine that they capture the personality, expressions and individuality of everyone they photograph.

Education and training are an integral part of their business, whether training new photographers in their studios or students around the country. They try to teach proper lighting and exposure techniques to capture great images IN THE CAMERA!
